Michael Franzese was a mafia boss. He lived an evil lifestyle. That lifestyle destroys the families of the people who live those lifestyles. He met his wife to be when he was “at the top of his mob game”, and she turned his head. He saw her faith, and he respected it. At first, he thought that spending a couple of years in prison might be a way out of the mob life. He spent five years in prison, but it didn’t work out the way he thought it would. He floundered. His life was in danger. He violated parole and spent three more years in prison. During that time when he was desperate, thinking he might spend the rest of his life in prison, he turned to God and the Bible. He came out of prison this time a transformed man. He now says there is a difference between change and transformation. Only God can transform.
